Lisa is known for her genuine teaching style. She empowers her students and creates a sense of community in her group classes, both in the room and online.
With 20 years experience as a personal health and fitness coach, Lisa’s anatomy
and physiology knowledge is expansive, and this is applied in both the one-to-
one and the group Yoga sessions she facilitates. You can expect strong alignment cues, with clear instruction and attention to detail throughout.
It is one of Lisa’s goals to debunk the myth that you need to be ‘bendy’ to do Yoga.
Quite the opposite! If you struggle with your flexibility, embarking on a journey of
Yoga, could see you can reap even more benefits than those who come with an
already established level of flexibility. On the flipside of this, if you are a more experienced Yoga practitioner, Lisa will find great joy in helping you take your practice to a deeper level.
Lisa has a background in sport and it’s through her experience of bringing Yoga into
her own training schedule, that she has more recently launched the concept of
Stroga. Stroga is a programme of Yoga developed specifically for athletes. It’s
attracting sportsmen and women across the board, who are looking to enhance their
performance, improve their recovery between sessions, reduce their risk of injury
and heighten their focus.
It’s Lisa’s belief that everyone can benefit from the profound physical, mental and
emotional benefits of Yoga, and that with the right guidance it can be accessible to all.
